TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
The owner of the online store www.bijou.ee (hereinafter referred to as the Online Store) is Marilin Simons FIE (registration code 14902054), located at Juuredveo 8-10, Tallinn 11313.
Validity of the Sales Agreement, Product and Price Information
The terms of sale apply when purchasing goods from the Online Store.
The prices of products sold in the Online Store are indicated next to the products. The price is subject to a delivery fee. All prices of goods sold in the Online Store are in euros.
The delivery fee depends on the buyer’s location and the delivery method. The delivery fee is displayed to the buyer when placing an order.
Information about the product is provided in the Online Store directly next to the product.
Placing an Order
To order goods, the desired products must be added to the shopping cart. To complete the order, the required information fields must be filled out, and a suitable delivery method must be selected. The total cost is then displayed, which can be securely paid using the following payment methods:
- Estonian bank payments
- Finnish bank payments
- Latvian bank payments
- Lithuanian bank payments
- Visa/Mastercard card payments

Payments are mediated by Maksekeskus AS. Payment takes place outside the Online Store in a secure environment – in the case of a bank link, within the respective bank’s secure environment, and in the case of credit card payment, within the secure environment of Maksekeskus AS. The seller does not have access to the buyer’s banking or credit card details. The contract takes effect from the moment the payment amount is received in the Online Store’s bank account.
The owner of the Online Store is the data controller and transfers the personal data necessary for making payments to the authorized processor, Maksekeskus AS.
If the ordered goods cannot be delivered due to stock depletion or other reasons, the buyer will be informed as soon as possible, and the paid amount (including delivery costs) will be refunded immediately but no later than within 14 days of sending the notification.
Delivery
Goods are shipped worldwide. The list of destination countries is available when placing an order.
The buyer can choose from the following delivery methods:
- Smartpost Itella parcel terminal delivery
- Omniva post office delivery
The shipping costs are borne by the buyer, and the corresponding price information is displayed next to the delivery method.
Domestic shipments in Estonia generally reach the buyer’s specified destination within 3-5 working days from the conclusion of the sales contract. International deliveries take up to 14 calendar days, depending on the destination distance.
In exceptional cases, the Online Store has the right to deliver goods within 45 calendar days.
Right of Withdrawal
After receiving the order, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract concluded in the Online Store within 14 days.
The right of withdrawal does not apply if the buyer is a legal entity.
To exercise the 14-day return right, the ordered goods must not be used in any way other than what is necessary to ascertain the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods in the same way as would be allowed for testing the goods in a physical store.
If the goods have been used for purposes other than necessary to ascertain their nature, characteristics, and functioning or if they show signs of use or wear, the Online Store has the right to reduce the refundable amount according to the decrease in the value of the goods.
To return the goods, a withdrawal statement must be submitted via email info@bijou.ee.
Upon receiving the withdrawal statement, the Online Store will send a confirmation email.
The costs of returning the goods are borne by the buyer, except in cases where the return is due to the item being incorrect or defective.
The buyer must return the goods within 14 days of submitting the withdrawal statement or provide proof that they have sent the goods to the address: Juurdeveo 8-10, Tallinn 11313, Estonia.
Upon receiving the returned goods, the Online Store will refund the buyer immediately, but no later than within 14 days from receiving the withdrawal statement, all amounts received under the contract.
The Online Store may refuse to issue refunds until the returned item has been received or until the buyer provides proof that they have sent the item, whichever occurs first.
If the buyer has explicitly chosen a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery method offered by the Online Store, the Online Store is not required to refund the cost exceeding the standard delivery fee.
Right to File Complaints
The buyer has the right to file a complaint within two months of discovering a defect by sending an email to info@bijou.ee or calling: +37256502077.
The Online Store is not responsible for defects that occur after the goods have been handed over to the buyer.
If the goods purchased from the Online Store have defects for which the Online Store is responsible, the Online Store will repair or replace the defective goods. If the goods cannot be repaired or replaced, the Online Store will refund the buyer all costs associated with the sales contract.
The Online Store responds to consumer complaints in writing or in a form that allows written reproduction within 15 days.
Direct Marketing and Processing of Personal Data
The Online Store uses the personal data entered by the buyer only for processing orders and delivering the goods to the buyer. The Online Store transfers personal data to logistics service providers to ensure the delivery of the goods.
The Online Store sends newsletters and offers to the buyer’s email address only if the buyer has given consent by entering their email address on the website and has expressed a desire to receive direct marketing messages.
The buyer may opt out of promotional emails and newsletters at any time by notifying the Online Store via email or by following the instructions provided in the promotional emails.
Dispute Resolution
If the buyer has complaints regarding the Online Store, they must be sent via email to info@bijou.ee or by calling: +37256502077.
If the buyer and the Online Store cannot resolve the dispute by agreement, the buyer may contact the Consumer Disputes Committee. The Consumer Disputes Committee has the authority to resolve disputes arising from agreements between the buyer and the Online Store. Submitting a complaint to the committee is free of charge for the buyer.
The buyer may also refer disputes to the European Union’s Online Dispute Resolution platform.
